"According to Nicole Wallace of the McCain campaign, the American people don't care whether Sarah Palin can answer specific questions about foreign and domestic policy. According to Wallace -- in an appearance I did with her this morning on Joe Scarborough's show -- the American people will learn all they need to know (and all they deserve to know) from Palin's scripted speeches and choreographed appearances on the campaign trail and in campaign ads." Yep, as long as no one can actually ask her any unscripted questions, she will appear brilliant.

You just keep clinging to that hope, DL.

How did Obama become famous enough to run for president? A speech he gave at the 2004 Democratic convention.

Well, now Gov Palin has the same credentials he does.

I don't think it's a good idea for liberals to attack Palin for her inexperience. How is that going to help Obama? Considering he's running for POTUS and she for VP, he should be WAY more experienced than her.

Now, how we define "experience" and what of it is actually good, is another matter.

I agree Adam, we should start attacking her for being a nincompoop with a 3rd rate education and a record of using her government positions to get pork-barrel earmarks for her town and fire state troopers who upset her family. Or we can attack her for having extremist positions on all the social issues and not a freaking clue about any other issues - all the ones that really matter.

Obama did become famous for a speech, but he then campaigned for the Senate and again for the Presidency and was asked all sorts of questions by reporters and ordinary citizens and fielded them all. Once we see Palin do that, we can call it even.
