Music Suggestions
Here's a couple of Mark and Geoffrey's song suggestions:
"Werewolves of London" is an awesome song. One of the first 45s I bought. If Ashlee is referring to Tom Waits - he's awesome, one of the most interesting, inventive songwriters ever. His voice is unusual, but he has so many shadings, so many timbres - he can growl softly, in an almost pleading tone. He can shout loud and hoarse. He can intone with an ironic majesty that's betrayed by his whiskey-and-Lucky-Strikes voice.
See, that clip of "June" just doesn't cut it.
There are so many songs . . .
Right now, I'm enjoying reminiscing by listening to Jackson Browne's "That Girls Could Sing", my favorite of his (a limited group, that). Also, an oldie and probably forgotten one, "Crazy", by the Australian band Icehouse. And a real live love song that I cannot find anywhere but Pandora, "Just Take a Chance" by someone by Bill Meyers.

There are some INTERESTING choices in that mix. Especially that second one. :0)
Careful now, don't make me break out Werewolves of London again.
