This Day In History
August 3, 1492: Columbus sets sail from Spain on the first voyage of discovery. Arrives in the West Indies Oct. 12, 1492.
2001: The day George W. Bush got the Daily Briefing entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike Inside US" and blew it off saying "All right, you've covered your ass now".
August 7, 1998: Two huge terrorist car bomb attacks, aimed at the United States embassies in Nairobi, Kenya and Dar es Salaam,Tanzania, kill more than 200 people.
Al Queda didn't just appear the day President Bush took office.
