Teachers drop the Holocaust to avoid offending Muslims
Schools are dropping the Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim pupils, a Government backed study has revealed.
It found some teachers are reluctant to cover the atrocity for fear of upsetting students whose beliefs include Holocaust denial.
There is also resistance to tackling the 11th century Crusades - where Christians fought Muslim armies for control of Jerusalem - because lessons often contradict what is taught in local mosques.

You'd think that if a person was of a specific faith...and practiced that faith, that a mere "lesson" in class about the holocaust or the crusades, shouldn't really affect them. It might pose good "family talk" time that night where the kids can ask their parents questions about it, but I don't think that whole chunks of histroy should ever be forgotten because it might offend someone. History is history. We need to remember it. Isn't there some sort of saying that talks about not repeating history or learning from our forefathers? Does this mean in 50 years we are supposed to forget about 9/11 because we don't want to offend anyone?
