Salt Lake City, Temple Square Lights

One of the best Christmas traditions is going to Temple Square in Salt Lake City to see the lights.

We took our LDS youth group there last Wednesday night. In addition to being absolutely beautiful, the night was relatively warm.

On a humorous side note: while there, I was walking past the Assembly Hall with my son and some other youth when a girl approached him and said, seriously, "Can I ask you a question?" He said "Sure," and then she asked, with her arms suddenly held out toward him, "Can I hold the priesthood?" After some encouragement on my part, he obliged her with a hug.

You Mormons are so weird! :-)

We went to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional last night with our kids, and then walked around Temple Square afterwards. It was great. It's one of my favorite traditions.
